With the necklace above, the design was born when we saw the dragons in our shipment. “Here Be Dragons” Mariners’ maps once labeled the vast expanses of unexplored oceans as lairs of powerful dragons and sea-dwelling monsters. This custom July birthstone necklace for was a pleasure to design. Creating a birthday surprise gift for a long-time client is always enjoyable. Reflecting her preferences for subtle elegance and gold, the single strand choker and matching dangle earrings combined 4mm rubies, 6mm pearls, and a 10mm white topaz focal set in 14k gold. An added benefit for our clients is the affordable design upgrades and repairs we provide. Although she received this several years ago, the earrings are back to replace the gold studs with white topaz. |
